Confident Childbirth Hypnobirthing is an excellent way to prepare for the birth of your baby.

iStock_000013884544SmallI will teach you self-hypnosis and a set of mental tools, including techniques for managing discomfort and other relaxation techniques allowing you to feel more comfortable and in control during your labour.

I have worked with first-time mums who want support with pain management and nerves as well as mums who have had a difficult first birth.

I can support you in overcoming any negative beliefs or previous negative experiences; helping you to focus on a calm and positive mindset.

Confident Childbirth Hypnobirthing offers you the chance to feel calm and in control before, during and after the birth of your baby.

Your sessions will include:
▪ Self-hypnosis: how to go into a state of calm relaxation
▪ Personal visualisations to aid your labour and delivery
▪ Relaxation and a range of pain control techniques
▪ How to remain positive, in control and in communication
▪ Helping you to overcome specific or severe anxieties

By the end of your sessions, you may be surprised just how much your mindset has shifted, so that you can look forward to childbirth in a much more relaxed way than before.

What are the benefits of Hypnobirthing?

During Labour and Delivery
▪ Being positive and calm with a range of pain control techniques to use, you’re much less likely to need chemical painkillers.
▪ Research shows that labour is likely to be significantly shorter.
▪ Research also shows that there’s a much-reduced likelihood of forceps, ventouse, or Caesarean section.
▪ You’ll have learned a proven method for communicating with medical staff which means you’ll feel involved in any decisions that are made as labour progresses.
▪ You’ll have a range of tools and visualizations to use so that you can stay positive and comfortable.

This approach differs from other Hypnobirthing methods, as it is a truly flexible approach that is uniquely tailored to each person. My aim is for you to have the birth that is right and positive for you and your baby and to feel calmer, more in control and more positive than you otherwise might.

The Hypnobirthing course I offer comprises of 3 to 4 sessions, each session lasts up to 75 minutes. These can be spaced over the duration of your pregnancy.
